All Souls Day Remembrance


For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him
may have eternal life, and I shall raise him on the last day.

On November 2nd, the Catholic Church celebrates All Souls Day, a special day in the Church calendar where we remember and pray for the faithful departed who have meant so much to us throughout our lives. Our faith is grounded in hope: the hope that our loved ones are with Christ, the hope that we will be with Him one day in heaven, and the hope that our prayers will continue to lift up those who have gone before us.

This year we invite each of you to share with us the names of any deceased family members and/or friends whom you would like us to keep in our prayers throughout the month of November. We will place their names in front of the altar in the Madonna Della Strada Chapel and will remember their names in the Prayers of the Faithful at mass each Tuesday and Thursday as well as at our all school Mass on All Saints Day, November 1st.
