About the AJHS Workforce Investment Partners Program
The What: Arrupe Jesuit’s Workforce Investment Program (WIP) funds the cost of students currently working at nonprofits across Denver. By investing in WIP, you help Arrupe’s students to build workplace skills; you strengthen Arrupe’s Work Study Program; and you add capacity to nonprofits that are making a real difference in our community. One investment creates three lasting returns.
The Why: Through Work Study, Arrupe places students in more than 30 non-profits, allowing those organizations to better address issues such as education, housing, and food insecurity. While they provide great benefit to the community, these non-profits do not have the money to pay for an Arrupe Work Study team. WIP funds these non-profit placements.
